Most of the beaches on Shuswap Lake are undeveloped, meaning restaurants and grocery stores are not accessible. Therefore we suggest that guests be prepared with food when they arrive at the marina. Don’t forget to account for all the ingredients you will need for cooking, including spices, oil, salt, pepper, and condiments. 

We recommend you try to plan meals that are tasty, filling, and require little cooking while on the houseboat. After all, who wants to be stuck in the kitchen on vacation?!

Simplicity is key, some quick meal ideas include: tin foil dinners, hot dogs, hamburgers, grilled meats, kebabs, chili, or sandwiches! A pro tip is to leave the fridges for food and bring extra coolers to house your beverages.

You can get ice at the marina upon your arrival. Purchase in the store or charge it to your boat and your porter will deliver it for you.
