ABOUT TWIN ANCHORS

OUR HISTORY

Twin Anchors Houseboats was a pioneer in the houseboat industry, becoming the first commercial houseboat operator in Western Canada in 1964. Twin Anchors operate a marina in Old Town Bay with a combined fleet of more than 100 houseboats. Every houseboat in our fleet is designed and manufactured from the hull up at our Sicamous manufacturing plant to ensure quality construction and meticulous attention to detail.

Custom-built CruiseCrafts are highly sought after and we’ve earned the distinction of being the manufacturer of choice for 18 houseboat rental marinas throughout North America.

And while the scenery may be rugged, your accommodation aboard a Twin Anchors’ houseboat certainly isn’t. Twin Anchors is known for exceptional service, attention to detail and luxurious houseboats.

Shuswap Winter 2020/2021...

Although we don't get to see all of our guests throughout the winter, we are still busy on the dock and through the shop getting boats prepared for the upcoming season. With constant turn arounds from the start of May through October, our off-season gives us the well-needed break to complete all renovations and repairs to freshen up the fleet! 😎

Lots of the boats stay in the water during the off-season, however much of our renovation work is completed just up Old Town Road in the shop where boats from our fleet get their makeovers before you get to see them next.

Comment and let us know what you want to see! Beaches, boat features, the lake, or the mountains and we will share it with you!

This winter we have enjoyed lots of clear sunny days... but the water isn't as inviting as it will be by July and August 😉

I want to see some more cruise craft 5 features 😍

Would be cool to see the process of getting the boats out of the water and into the shop. Then what happens in the shop. 🤷🏼‍♀️

More smaller boats for couples or small families 👍
