SHUSWAP LAKE

TAKING CARE OF SHUSWAP LAKE

We are a family owned company with employees who are local residents- we grew up here, live here and play here all year around. We enjoy the year round beauty and extraordinary recreational opportunities that the area has to offer and invite you to share it with us. A priority for our team is to preserve our environment for everyone to enjoy.

WORKING TOGETHER

Twin Anchors recognizes the importance of maintaining water quality in the Shuswap Lake system therefore we continue to monitor our lakes, educate our customers while working in conjunction with other companies in the industry. Working with governments at all levels to ensure optimum action is being taken on a continuous basis.

PLEASE DO YOUR PART!

Recycle, use only environmentally friendly products within the lake system, and remove all your refuse for proper disposal, please do not disturb the vegetation. No glass bottles on the beach.

Most importantly we ask that you “leave only your footprints on our beaches”……so that we can all enjoy the serenity and natural beauty of this area in the future.

Every year we have gone houseboating, we have hiked Albas Falls. Interesting to see it all change year to year and season to season. Hiked it two years in the spring during runoff and once mid summer, first time hiking it in the fall was this year when the water was way down. Super interesting terrain.

Just cruising out on the lake....the best time ever!!

Marble point?

Pierre’s point campground

The whole lake! Enjoyed each spot we stopped at. Always enjoyed going to see the salmon run.

The beach to go to Alba falls?

best family trip ever!

Twin bays, quite and calm waters.

Winter is on its way to Old Town Bay!

Throughout the winter our boats either remain on the dock or get pulled out of the water to get their seasonal spa treatment in the manufacturing plant 😎 Twin Anchors sailings run from May throughout the first week of October of every year!

Winters in the Columbia-Shuswap region come with heavy snowfall and mild temperatures, making it a popular area for avid skiers, snowmobilers, and other outdoor enthusiasts! Even though the average winter temperature is below freezing, Shuswap Lake never freezes over so you will likely find a few boats out on the water during the sunny days 🥶
